Alibaba Expands Data Centers in Europe, Middle East for AI Push
Alibaba Cloud announced plans to establish new cloud regions in Türkiye, Finland, and the Netherlands within the next 12 months. The company will also expand its data center footprint in Malaysia, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, France, and Hong Kong. These moves are part of Alibaba's strategy to increase its global computing capacity and localize cloud and AI services.
The expansion builds on Alibaba Cloud's existing infrastructure, which includes 107 availability zones across 31 regions worldwide. ![]()
