EIA Cuts 2026-2027 WTI and Brent Price Forecasts

The EIA has sharply reduced its oil price forecasts for 2026 and 2027. The 2026 WTI average price forecast was cut to $76.26/bbl from $88.32/bbl, with 2027 projected at $60.76/bbl from $74.39/bbl. Brent forecasts also saw reductions, indicating a bearish outlook for crude oil prices.
