European Diesel Prices Soar as Ukraine Attacks Russian Refineries
European diesel prices are rising sharply due to Ukrainian attacks on Russian refineries. These strikes disrupt the supply of refined petroleum products. Russia's crude oil processing in June fell 25% from a year ago to 3.95 million barrels per day, the lowest in over two decades. Gasoline production also dropped 17% to 850,000 barrels a day.
The ongoing conflict has led to fuel rationing in over half of Russia's regions. Russian diesel output fell by about 10% in May, following a similar drop in April. On Hyperdash, ![]()
