Microsoft to Invest Over $10 Billion in Middle East by 2030
Microsoft plans to invest over $15 billion in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by the end of 2029, with a focus on AI and cloud computing projects. The company has secured US export licenses for Nvidia chips to be used in its UAE data centers. This investment includes $7.3 billion spent between early 2023 and the end of 2025, and an additional $7.9 billion planned through 2029.
