Hyperdash NewsEquities

South Korean retail investors purchased $4.6 billion in US stocks during July. This represents the largest monthly total since January 2026 and a 627% increase from the previous month. July also marked the first time since February that these investors bought more US equities than domestic ones.

This surge in US stock purchases followed a 33% decline in the KOSPI Index from its June peak. The shift in investment focus suggests a move away from the domestic market amid its downturn.

KOSPI 200 has fallen -0.03% on Hyperdash since the news, with Samsung down -0.04% and SK Hynix (KR) down -0.02%.
