US Crude Inventories Rise by 2.97MM Barrels, SPR Drained by 405K

US crude oil inventories increased by 2.969 million barrels, while the expected draw was 690,000 barrels. Gasoline stocks fell by 1.686 million barrels, and distillates decreased by 428,000 barrels. The Strategic Petroleum Reserve was drained by 405,000 barrels, reaching its lowest level since 1982.
