US Strategic Oil Reserve Hits 40-Year Low

Hyperdash NewsCommodities

The U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) saw a reduction of 6.1 million barrels last week. This drawdown brought the total SPR inventory to 298.7 million barrels, marking its lowest level since January 1983.

This decline suggests a tightening supply outlook for crude oil. The SPR, designed to provide emergency oil supplies, has been a key factor in global oil markets.

WTI Crude has given back -0.10% on Hyperdash since the news landed, with Brent Crude down -0.11%.
